I am an Otolaryngologist - fancy name for Ear, Nose, and Throat Surgeon (ENT) - and a fellow of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada. Originally from Ottawa, I completed my undergraduate medical degree in Ottawa. My residency in ENT was completed at McGill University in Montreal, Canada. After graduating, I spent three months working in Sydney, Nova Scotia before moving to the Halifax area where I opened my practice in Dartmouth in 2006. My main interests lie in snoring, and sleep apnea. I am happily married with two children, a girl and a boy, who help to keep life both busy and exciting. I love Nova Scotia and am very happy to have made this my home. Most free time in the summer is spent searching for sea creatures on the many incredible beaches, or trying to brave the often fridgid waters of the ocean. |

| Bulldogs are the only other mammal to snore. They are a type of brachycephalic dog meaning they have been bred to have a short head. Their palate and uvula is often too long for their mouth and they may have to have it trimmed surgically to stop them from strangling in their sleep. Don't Believe Me?
